I went out to buy a friend a birthday gift and came back with a Balmain inspired jacket for myself...

Sometimes the temptation is just too great.

this is exactly the kind of thing that i would do.

permalink you know CD, i wasn’t crazy about the Spring 2010 RTW, but i still love you and (almost) everything you create.

A post I’ve been meaning to do for a while: Aldo’s knack for ripping off designer shoes. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining - I want all three pairs above, and unlike their designer counterparts, its actually likely that I could afford to own them. But its funny, to those of us who are shoe-obsessed enough to notice, how blatantly they copy popular designers.

Will I be buying one of these pairs of shoes? No. I will probably be buying all of them. Because as much as a love a beautifully crafted designer shoe, I love all of these because of how they look, not because of the label stiched inside.
